Starting School
Reception admissions 2025
Admissions for September 2025 are now open via the Enfield Council Website. This is for children whose birthdays fall from 1st September 2020 until 31st August 2021.
When applying for a place at Oakthorpe Primary School, we would always encourage you to book a tour of our school, where you will be able to ask questions, meet the staff and see the classrooms your children may learn in.
All school tours begin at 9.30am on the following dates:
- 16th October 2024
- 23rd October 2024
- 6th November 2024
- 13th November 2024

Starting School at Oakthorpe
Once you know that your child will be attending Oakthorpe Primary School, we will contact you with lots of useful information.
We organise, play sessions, home visits and a parent-information evening prior to your child starting school.
